Angel Schlesser Pour Elle Eau De Toilette Review

Angel Schlesser is a designer I’ve had my eye on for a while now. I’ve been keen to try some of the Pour Elle range after loving some testers, so I was excited when I was sent a bottle of the Angel Schlesser Pour Elle Eau De Toilette to try.

Schlesser is a Spanish designer who proved himself to be a man of many talents over the decades, working in fashion, jewellery and fragrances. His products are aimed at urban working women and promote elegance and practicality.

The bottle design certainly does that. It’s a classic design that’s sophisticated and feminine. With its ridged edges it’s safe enough to throw it into any handbag.

The fragrance itself is delicious! Schlesser was inspired to create it after a chance encounter with an unknown woman who caught his eye and his imagination. He describes the fragrance as a “delicate interpretation of the fragrant story of seduction and mystery.”

The fragrance is floral and fruity, with citrusy notes of bergamot, grapefruit and mandarin. It also has a floral heart, with tones of jasmine, pear, peony and orange blossom. The intense base is made from a dark chocolate, tonka bean, patchouli, vetiver and vanilla. The result is a sweet, citrusy yet light fragrance that oozes class and elegance.

I got quite a few fragrances for Christmas but this is definitely one of my favourites. I can see this being a permanent fixture in my handbag over the next few months for a top up during the busy days back to work. Angel Schlesser also does a Pour Homme Eau De Toilette and I’m going to grab a sample for my husband.
