The contour kit from Anastasia was the first products I ever tried from the brand, and so I often associate them with sculpting the complexion. I was very excited to try the new Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Bronzer. I have the shade Amber here to show you.

My Review
- Easy to apply and blend
- Doesn’t need to be set
- Flattering texture
I really like this new cream bronzer from Anastasia. It’s nice and easy to apply with a gorgeous creamy texture that lasts really well on the skin.
The shade Amber is warm and gives my skin a healthy look. It’s definitely one for bronzing rather than contouring as it wouldn’t be cool-toned enough for the latter.
I only have the one shade, but I love the fact that there are seven available. This really means that Anastasia Beverly Hills are delivering where the Chanel bronzer shade range fails.
In terms of performance, this works really well. The formula doesn’t exacerbate texture or lines, and has a very flattering finish. A little goes a long way and it applies really nicely over foundation without moving it or picking it up.
It definitely performs as well as the Chanel, if not better, as far as I am concerned. I think the Amber shade is comparable to the original Chanel shade.
I was actually expecting the Amber shade to be more cool-toned (like the Fenty shade Amber) but it’s really rather warm. I don’t mind this, but if you’re looking for something more neutral, this won’t be for you.
It’s difficult for me to advise on which shade would be more suitable for more of a neutral / cooler tone for contour, as I only have this shade.
I love the formula, it’s just hard to say how well the shades will work with different skin tones.
Where to buy it
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Bronzer is £32 and available via the following links. Right now, it seems like only half the shade range is available here in the UK.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Blush & Stick Highlighter
I will share more on these soon but I just wanted to give you a very quick run down on the new sticks.
I have the blush stick* and absolutely love it. It is creamy and gorgeous, with the right amount of pigmentation that blends like a dream. If you love a cream blush, you will really like this.
I am not quite so keen on the highlight stick*, and nor will you be if you’re not a fan of glitter. It has a fine micro glitter that’s quite pretty when first applied. However, after wearing it out for the evening, my boyfriend told me that my whole face was twinkling. Not always what I am looking for!
Anyway, I will share more details on those soon. Let me know if you have any questions.
