I couldn’t resist trying the limited edition Alpha-H Melting Moment Cleansing Balm with Australian Davidson Plum Extract, mainly because I love the packaging. I am so glad I did because it’s great. Here’s what you need to know.
What is the Limited Edition Alpha-H Melting Moment Cleansing Balm?
So this is a limited edition version of Alpha-H’s cleansing balm, that I’m sad to say I haven’t tried before. I really should have because it’s gorgeous!
- Balm-to-oil, waterless formula
- Designed to lift away SPF, makeup and impurities
- Won’t disrupt the skin’s natural pH levels
- Features new ingredient Native Australian Davidson Plum which is antioxidant-rich
- Can be used as a single or double cleanse, or as a 10 minute moisturising mask
- Works to soothe inflammation and balance excess sebum
- Scented with a new blend of mandarin, geranium, ylang ylang and vanilla
Key Ingredients
- Australian Davidson Plum – rich in antioxidants and boosts skin barrier
- Grapeseed Oil – rich in antioxidants and helps to soothe the skin
- Australian sandalwood seed oil – rich in anti-inflammatory Ximenynic Acid which helps to increase micro-circulation and reduce excess sebum production
How to use it
This cleanser is a joy to use. I just scoop out a blob, warm it between my hands and then massage it over my face for a minute or two before adding a splash of water, and massaging some more. I remove it with a wet flannel.
You can also apply this to clean skin and leave on for 10 minutes as a moisturising mask.
My Review
I have been using the limited edition Alpha-H Melting Moment Cleansing Balm with Australian Davidson Plum for a few days and I love it. The texture is unlike most cleansing balms, in that it is very light and almost whipped.
I find some balms more sticky and heavy, and they take effort to work into the skin, but this one melts effortlessly and glides luxuriously over the skin, lifting up all my makeup as it goes.
It smells absolutely delicious and the mandarin and vanilla in there make the scent almost edible! I get something along the lines of super soft chocolate orange!!
It leaves my skin super clean and smooth and feeling hydrated. It’s lovely.
If you are sensitive to fragrance, you may want to avoid the eyes.
