One of my favourite makeup products of all time are the YSL Glossy stains. It was love at first swipe when I tried them for the first time in 2012 and so any news about them gets me really excited! And there’s some wonderful news because September will be welcoming the YSL Rebel Nudes Rouge Pur Couture Vernis a Levres. Rebel nudes? I love it!!!

Aren’t they gorgeous!!? The whole premise behind the YSL Rebel Nudes are that these aren’t the kind of nude you don’t notice. This is nude colour – “To make light vibrate through colour, in full transparency”. I like the sound of that! YSL have a new technology that delivers a unique pearl finish exclusive to Yves Saint Laurent.

The shade range, as you can see, is just beautiful. The most vibrant colours that really take nude to another level (“because nude doesn’t stop at beige”) are N° 103 Pink No Taboo, N° 104 Fuchsia Tomboy and N° 108 Violine Out of Control.

N° 101 Nude Provocateur, N° 106 Beige Anarchist and N° 107 Naughty Mauve are the most transparent shades. N° 102 Corail Mutin or N° 105 Corail Hold Up have orange tones that will suit pale skins. And YSL are saying that darker skins will suit every shade. I can’t wait to see them in the flesh!
