With the arrival of spring time and the floaty, floral scents you would associate with this time of the year, you would be forgiven for being a bit taken aback by the bold, masculine, musky dark look of Stash by Sarah Jessica Parker. Spring time, lambs and daffodils this is not. Find it here

Stash took me by surprise, as I usually favour a subtle, sweet, fresh and light perfume. Stash is not this. It is rich, woody and has a hint of a very good aftershave about it. And indeed Stash is a unisex scent.
Grapefruit zest, black pepper and aromatic sage give an initial energy and warmth and then notes of cedarwood atlas and patchouli, ginger lily and pistachio make up the overall intoxicating aroma.
Stash smells as good on a man as it does a woman, especially if you prefer a deeply, musky scent. If you have ever been to the Middle East – Dubai in particular, you will know what I mean when I say that this scent reminds me of the beautiful mysterious fragrance that encapsulates you when you first enter one of the many luxurious hotels.
Sarah Jessica Parker took her inspiration for Stash from masculine perfumes, body odours, churches and leather.
A sturdy glass bottle holds the eau de parfum and again would look as good on a man or woman’s bathroom shelf/dressing table. I’m not a fan of the packaging-the label in particular doesn’t convey the quality fragrance that this is, but I am being picky.
Stash by Sarah Jessica Parker is for you if you favour woody aromas or if you want to mix things up and want to be a bit different. This is the sort of daring scent that will leave people wondering who smells so good. This is not your traditional perfume, but then who want to be traditional?
