Schwarzkopf are a brand that need little introduction. Their hair products are used and loved worldwide, and I’m going to be looking at three of the products from the Schwarzkopf Professional BC Brazilnut Oil range.

As the name states, the products all contain a brazilnut oil which is rich in proteins, minerals and Omega 3 and 9. These do wonders for your hair by nourishing it, rebuilding it and keeping it healthy. Because they’re oil based products they’ll give your hair a lovely shine too!

Schwarzkopf Professional BC Brazilnut Oil Shampoo

First up is the brazilnut oil-in shampoo, which is suitable for all hair types. The bottle is pink and purple with a beautiful gold lid. I’ve been getting into gold in a big way recently, so this really stood out for me! The scent is sweet, fruity and natural.

Because this product is oil based, start with a small amount and work down from the roots. On my first go I put too much on which left my hair feeling a bit greasy, so a tiny amount is all you need to begin with. If you have dry hair then this product is going to work wonders for you!

Schwarzkopf Professional BC Brazilnut Oil Pulp Treatment

Next is the Brazilnut Oil Pulp Treatment. It comes in a little pot with the same pink and gold design and has a similar sweet scent to the shampoo. The product itself is a thick, gooey pulp that acts as a conditioner that you apply to towel dried hair at the mid lengths and ends. Just leave in for a couple of minutes then rinse out or you can leave in longer for more of an intense treatment.

It has a thick consistency and contains little argon powder particles which look like tiny red flecks in the pot, and they help strip out an impurities in your hair.

Just like the shampoo, the first time I used this I put too much in and it was difficult to rinse out, so again start with a small amount and build on it. I’ve been using this just once a week and I love it so far!

Schwarzkopf Professional BC Brazilnut Oil Talent 10 Milk Hair Spray

Last but not least is the Brazilnut Oil Talent 10 Milk Hair Spray, which comes in a beautifully shaped glass bottle. It’s a leave in treatment with the same fruity scent which protects your hair throughout the day with Vitamin E and UV filters.

I apply a couple of sprays to my towel dry hair and brush it through before drying and I found that it did last most of the day. I only use it after washing my hair but you can use it every day if you can’t get enough of its wonderful sweet scent!

Overall I’m loving Schwarzkopf’s brazilnut oil range, although it took a little trial and error to work out how much to put in my hair, but now I’m reaping the rewards!
