I really wanted to write about Floris’ Cambridge fragrance created to mark the birth of Prince George as I know what big news this new addition to the royal family. I have to admit though, I really didn’t expect to like it as much as I do! I requested a sample so that I could be a little bit more in the know about what it was like and it turned out out be one those fragrances that I instantly loved!

Floris By Request: Cambridge Eau De Parfum
I only have a tiny sample size as the Floris By Request service recognises a demand for something special from their customers and then produces a very small and exclusive run of the fragrance. This is what the full size bottle looks like.

Floris By Request: Cambridge Eau De Parfum
Cambridge is described as a clean, fresh marine, woody fragrance with a modern amber base – here’s a list of the notes:
Top Notes: Bergamot, Galbanum, Juniper Berry, Marine
Heart Notes: Cedarwood, Fir Balsam, Lavender, Jasmine
Base Notes: Amber, Moss, Musk, Vanilla
There are quite a few of my favourites in there – the Bergamot is very uplifting and then the woods becomes very warm and soften to a really smooth musky amber base. It is lovely. I think this is one that will appeal to both men and women.
Floris By Request Cambridge Eau De Parfum is available now and costs £139 for 100ml HERE. If you’re a fragrance buff, or a Royal enthusiast, this is sure to be one for the collection!
