Although I do love to get my hair coloured in a salon, I have found over the years that when it comes to time and money, doing a DIY job at home is often the easiest answer. I think this is particularly true if you are adding colour rather than taking it away; I don’t think I’d feel quite so confident using bleach at home! Saying that, I was rather pleased with my L’Oreal Wild Ombre attempts back in the day!
Earlier in the year I flew to NYC to make a video with Nice n Easy, which is the brand I use for my darker shades. It was all about my top tips for colouring hair at home.

The video focuses on how to choose the right formula and then how to maintain and make the most of the colour once you have have done it. This includes how to make it last as long as possible and how to keep it shiny and gorgeous! Take a look and let me know what you think!

Along with this video, there are also mini videos that focus on particular concerns:

- Protecting your colour
- Preventing damage and colour fade
- Avoiding dry hair
- Dealing with regrowth
Hope you found these helpful!
