Nanoblur. Look Ten Years Younger in 40 Seconds??

OK Nanoblur is a very exciting product. One look at the title will send the majority of women into a complete frenzy. In fact that statement has already done just that.
I was in a frenzy when I went to the fabulous launch party for Nanblur at The Box in London. Super trendy place but as I’m not that ‘down with the kids’ I had never heard of it. Perhaps shouldn’t admit to that.
Anyway, back to the job in hand. Talking about Nanoblur. From where I was sitting at the live demo, it was pretty difficult to see whether the product lived up to the hype that surrounded it. I did have a little play on the night, but the venue was too dimly lit for me to asses the Nano power at all. What I did know was that from what I could make out, my friend Holly’s hand did look smoother with Nanoblur, and that the product felt instantly drying on my face. To the point that I was extremely conscious of it being there.
I should say that I have fairly dry skin, which is even more dry at present due to the course of home fraxel laser treatments I am following (!). Never say I won’t suffer for beauty!!
I didn’t judge Nanoblur because I felt that I needed a nice base to play with, not a day old face of makeup, and so set about getting ten years younger the next day.
I decided to see what it could do without makeup because in my mind, there is no cream product on earth that will glide over foundation without moving it, rubbing it off or making it go globby. So I decided to go over a face primed just with moisturiser. Here it is…
If I was going to play a role in a film, I could use Nanoblur to do that flash forward to 10 years later…
Now I hate to give negative reviews (hate hate hate it) but I cannot lie and right now I can’t see Nanoblur working for me… only as Nanobleurgh. It makes me look chalky, pale and pretty lifeless – not to mention much more wrinkly. This is possibly the oldest I have ever seen my face looking!
What do you think?
Now I refuse to give up, because I do want it to work so very much. And I can see how it works to minimise pores and reduce shine. So I intend to experiment with a bit of mixing here, and blending there, and I promise to keep you up to date with how I get on. Let’s call it a work in progress!
Sorry people!!
