YSL Touche Eclat Rose Gold Highlighter Review

The product that first ignited my interest in luxury makeup has had a bit of a reinvention for the first time ever! Get ready for the YSL Touche Eclat Rose Gold Highlighter! If, like me, you love Touche Eclat and you love Rose Gold then this will feel like all the Christmases and birthdays rolled into one.

It looks so pretty in pink doesn’t it?! It’s strange to see it in Rose Gold but I really do like it!

So, as we now know, Touche Eclat is a highlighter and not a concealer and this will become even more obvious with the Or Rose edition.  Here’s the product swatched.

Because I am no makeup pro, I checked out the instructions rather closely!

And then I attempted to copy the instructions! I applied it to:

• The upper area of the cheekbones
• The top of the ckeekbones
• Right up to the temples
• The outer corner and the underside of the brow bone

…as instructed!

I think I may have got it but I might have gone a little wide! I then tapped the product into my skin and it looked like this.

I really do like the effect of this. The area looks really lifted and brightened on the left side and there’s a lovely soft glow. Don’t worry I evened it up before I went out in public!

I’m not sure this will ever replace my classic Touche Eclat but it’s certainly a very pretty option if you fancy a bit of rosy radiance.
