If you have been on the look out for something new and exciting in beauty, then I have just the thing. Westman Atelier has arrived in the UK and I love it all! Check out my Westman Atelier swatches, along with before and after photos with the gorgeous Vital Skin Foundation stick which I am kind of obsessed with!

So I had the pleasure of meeting with Gucci Westman for the UK launch and she is fab. I met her back in 2014 during New York Fashion Week and I have always loved her approach to glowing, luminous skin.

In case you don’t know Gucci, she is a brilliant New York makeup artist who is renowned for her commitment to clean living and a healthy lifestyle. She created Westman Atelier makeup to feed her need for clean luxury beauty.

She says, “Our makeup is absolutely as natural as it can be at this minute. But 100% natural is not the path that I chose because I also believe in creating things that work – and sometimes, a synthetic ingredient is the more responsible choice when it comes to performance.”

What Skincare ingredients are in Westman Atelier makeup?

Gucci wanted to create makeup that does more than just look good, especially after she developed rosacea and needed to make sure everything she applied to her skin was doing as much good as possible.

All the products are anti-inflammatory, anti-redness and lightweight and formulated with:

• Camelia seed oil to defend against pollution
• Raspberry cell extract for anti-ageing benefit
• Hylauronic Acid to plump and hydrate

Westman Atelier Vital Skin Foundation Review

I have been absolutely loving this foundation. I have shade II and it is super flattering on my skin. It is slightly warmer than I’d usually go for but Gucci recommended this shade to me and it actually works really well.

The texture is gorgeous and uses hydrating ingredients like Coconut Oil, Berryflux Vita and Vegetable-derived Squalane. There is also Camellia Seed Oil to protect against environmental pollutants.

The foundation glides on beautifully from the stick and then blends in effortlessly with fingers or a brush. It feels like you are wearing nothing and gives the skin the most gorgeous glow and skin-perfecting coverage.

I have Baby Cheeks in shade Petal and it’s a perfect colour that also works really well on the lips.

It is blended with Vitis Vita Grape Extract and Ayurvedic oils to soothe and nourish while boosting the natural production of Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid.

Here’s a swatch of the Super Loaded Tinted Highlighter:

It is stunning on the skin and also smells like holidays! It’s made with Caper Extract and Organic Jojoba Oil to hydrate and reduce inflammation. Hyaluronic Acid Filling Spheres smooth and plump skin.

Here’s the Face Trace Contour Stick Swatch:

It’s such a good shade and creates a great natural looking shadow. It’s a creamy formula infused with Organic Jojoba Oil, Berryflux Vita and China Clay which work to nourish and plump skin while absorbing excess oils. It also locks in hydration and guards against environmental stressors.

The Beauty Butter Powder Bronzer is a dream. Here’s the swatch:

The formula is infused with nourishing Capuacu, Cocoa Seed and Mango Seed butters to nourish skin and protect against environmental pollutants.
