There’s a brand new shade in the very gorgeous VB Beauty eyeliner collection. It will be a major hit if you’re looking for something more cool-toned in what seems like a sea of super warm eye shades we are seeing right now. Check out Victoria Beckham Ash Satin Kajal. I have been testing it out and have photos for you.

I love all the warm browns and bronzey shades out there, but I have been detecting a distinct fatigue among readers that are looking for something a little cooler when it comes to shades for the eyes. It seems we have quite an overload of red and copper tones, and beauty junkies are crying out for something a bit different. Ash is certainly in the cool range and has the chicest, grown-up glitter.

Ash is described as a rich matte graphite grey:

As you can see, there’s a gorgeous glimmer which actually gives it a semi-matte finish, and the cool tone makes it look really effortless and smoky.

I absolutely love the Satin Kajal Liner from Victoria Beckham Beauty, and is their best-selling and most repurchased product.

The new Ash shade is the fifth addition to the collection and joins Cocoa, Bronze, Bordeaux and Black. You can see my swatches of the Cocoa Kajal Liner which was the most recent addition before Ash. Read the full Victoria Beckham Beauty Review and swatches to see the original three shades.

This formula is safe for the waterline and it’s super long-lasting, so that’s my favourite way to wear it. Loads of liners don’t last too long in the waterline, but this really does.

The formula uses:

  • Chamomile Extract to help calm the sensitive eye area
  • Panthenol (a plant-derived provitamin of B5) to hydrate and calm the skin
  • Vitamin E provides antioxidant activity

It is also:

  • Long-Wear
  • Waterproof
  • Safe for Waterline Use
  • Dermatologist Tested
  • Ophthalmologist Tested
  • Safe for Contact Lens Wearers
  • Vegan
  • Gluten Free
