I showed you all the shades of the new Tom Ford Waterproof Foundation Concealer a while back and I recently got a sample to test and have been wearing it so I can give you the lowdown on how it performs. Here is everything you need to know.
When I first played with this new foundation I was very impressed with the formulation. It bonds with the skin in a highly efficient way and I even tested its waterproof capability with a glass of water. It is totally waterproof! See that here.
So having played with all the shades of the Tom Ford Waterproof Foundation, we decided that Fawn was the one for me. I am really happy with the match. If you want to see all the shades, go here.
Tom Ford Waterproof Foundation Before & After Photos
I absolutely love the finish of this foundation. I used a buffing brush to work it into the skin and a little goes a long way. As it is a foundation and concealer in one, you can apply a light layer all over the face which pretty much covers everything that you want it to, and then you can add a bit in precise areas if there are any more visible blemishes. Above is just one light layer.
It feels super light on the skin because it’s a weightless texture and you only need a small amount. I wore it for a whole day without powder and it lasted amazingly considering it was a particularly hot day. I was really sweaty (sorry) but it hung on in there and by the evening there was only a little bit of wearing around the nose. I think if I had powdered, even this may not have happened. But I love to skip powder whenever I can.
I love it and that makes me so happy. It is my favourite foundation from Tom Ford so far! Yay!
