Exciting times!! I have a sample of one of the Tom Ford Spring 2015 Eye Color Duos. This one is the Crushed Indigo and it’s seriously gorgeous!
The nail lacquer in Black Jade snuck into that photo – stay tuned for a post on that too.
The Tom Ford look puts a lot of emphasis on the eyes and Crushed Indigo is one of 3 colour-ways in the Tom Ford Spring 2015 Eye Color Duo line up. There is also Ripe Plum and Raw Jade (pictured HERE).
These eye duos use a new formula that claims to “perfectly capture pigments and light on the eye with flawless and sensorial application”. I am already a big fan of Tom Ford shadows – Nude Dip is a full on obsession – and this new formula ‘gelle’ powder is pretty stunning! The colour play is all about the dramatic contrast of light and dark shadow.
The lighter shade has high-colour pearl pigments. This can be worn alone for fresh, wide-awake eyes, or you can layer it over the metallic shade for an intense opalescent, iridescent duo-chrome finish.

You can apply the shadows dry, or use them wet for increased intensity. I am kind of obsessed with navy eyes – I get so over excited about dark blue liners.
I am going to have a proper play with Crushed Indigo and try to show you the ways this can be worn and I’ll update this post with photos if I can. Tom Ford Spring 2015 Eye Color Duos launch 4th February 2015 along with the rest of the Spring Summer collection. Find Tom Ford at Selfridges.
