You know me! I love my nail polish and I am not afraid to embrace a bit of texture! I have been playing with the new Sally Hansen Velvet Texture nail polish and it’s a big thumbs up!
Velvet finishes are huge in beauty, whether it’s on the skin, lips, or eyes, and I think it really is a perfectly suited texture for the tips too!
Sally Hansen Velvet Texture Shades
We have 3 gorgeous new shades:
- Lavish – Velveteen
- Velour – Purple
- Lavish – wine
Sally Hansen Velvet Texture Swatches
I went straight for the shade Lavish. I think that the crushed velvet texture lends itself beautifully to this colour.
The matte finish appears glowing and soft. I think it really does look like velvet – it makes you want to touch it. Here are the other shades, Velveteen and Velour swatches alongside Lavish.
These were bashed about about with the samples and the finish still looks really good. I always find that matte textures are much more hard-wearing and also really easy to apply, and this is certainly the case with the Sally Hansen Velvet Texture nail polishes.
I just used 2 coats and each layer dried really quickly. Now I can’t see these online here in the UK just yet, but I believe they launched about a month ago in the US. They should be landing here any second now I’d say.
Sally Hansen Velvet Texture costs £6.99. Find Sally Hansen at Boots. There’s also the new Sally Hansen Luse Lace Nail Polish. I’ll show you that soon.
