This week I have been testing out the new Pantene Pro V Dry Oil with Vitamin E. I’ve used it as a pre-wash treatment which works really well to revive dry hair and also as an overnight treatment. This is perfect if you like to use oils at night but don’t like the feel of traditional oil on your pillow.

But I thought I’d put it to the ultimate test of using it to protect from some serious heat styling and then as a finishing product to lock in the style and nourish the hair.

Pantene Dry Oil with Vitamin E promises to help protect hair from breakage and make it 10 times more resistant to damage. So in preparation for a super curly look, I smoothed about 6 pumps (my hair just sucks this stuff up!) through my towel dried hair and then brushed it through. I then rough dried it thoroughly with the hairdryer and set to work with the wand!

As you can see, I put some serious heat through it!! To break up the curls and give it a softer look I used 2 pumps of the Pantene Dry Oil with Vitamin E, warmed up between my palms, to rake through my hair.

This helped to add even more shine, relaxed the waves and really injected a great shot of moisture and nourishment.

I was really pleased with the result. and would recommend this particularly if you like to heat style your hair. I put some extreme heat through my hair in lots of little sections for this style and it still ended up looking healthy and shiny. Excellent!!
I have actually filmed a tutorial on how to create this look. It will be on my YouTube channel soon so make sure you subscribe.
Pantene Dry Oil with Vitamin is out now and costs £6.99. Bargain Alert! Superdrug currently have the oils on sale for £3.47 – give them a try while you can snap then up at half price!
