You know I love a mask and mud one are always top of my list when I need a deep clean. But it has to be the right mud mask. Old school ones cleansed but stripped, which my skin just cannot cope with. The new Merumaya Mud Marvels Mask is brilliant because it purifies but deeply nourishes at the same time. Here’s the lowdown.

This really is a gorgeous mask. It glides on to the skin and feels very gentle and calming. As it dries, it doesn’t give that really tight and uncomfortable feeling often associated with mud masks. I left it on for 15 minutes and then used a cleansing cloth to remove whilst in the shower.

Straight after my skin felt super clean yet hydrated and really smooth and soft. I felt like it had instant decongestant effect particularly on the sides of my chin below my mouth. There was absolutely no tight or dry sensation, even before I applied my serum and moisturiser. I also felt my consequent skincare products absorbed my quickly which always seems to be a good sign!

  1. It can be hard to find mud masks that still feel hydrating on the skin, most of them leave my skin feeling stripped. Definitely going to give this one a go, Merumaya always has fab reviews but I’m yet to try anything from the brand 🙂
