I was so happy to see this from Melvita because one of the nicest lip products with honey I have used (and used up!) is the Melvita Honey Lips which is a gloss and balm in one. Melvita 3 Honeys Nectar, is much more skincare than makeup, but quite the multi-tasker too and it’s gorgeous. If it is sounding familiar to you, I think this is a product re-launch with gorgeous new packaging.
So this is an absolutely beautiful lip balm – so instantly smoothing and soothing – and has been formulated to rescue dry and chapped lips by immediately nourishing and deeply repairing. It is also a multi-purpose balm that can be used on cuticles, dry patches of skin and on the ends of hair.
Melvita 3 Honeys Nectar Key Ingredients
- Arnica extract to soothe
- Bisabolol with anti-inflammatory benefit
- Melvita’s patented 3-Honey complex (Thyme, Orange Blossom & Acacia honeys) to repair, revitalise and condition
- Shea butter to nourish
- Coconut Oil to lock in moisture
There is so much good stuff going on here that it’s a veritable pot of magic. It’s so good on my lips, but I also have some sore patches around my hairline (eczema-ish) and it is so soothing and calming for that too. Fabulous!
The new Melvita 3 Honeys Nectar is out in March 2015 and costs £10 for an 8g pot which is a bit of a bargain. I also love the packaging – it’s a little beauty!
