I am very excited to see the Spring and Summer collections rolling in and I have to say I am absolutely loving this fun new look for Laura Mercier. Check out my photos and swatches of the lovely Laura Mercier Joie de Vivre Spring 2017 collection.

I love the design on the packaging! There’s nothing that suits Spring more than a sense of Joie de Vivre and it feels very fresh and new for the brand.

“First days of Spring – bistros are abuzz, emotions are awakened, there’s a flirtatious vibe in the air, a fresh, carefree ambiance”. It promises to be a clean, soft, diffused colour collection.

I don’t have Windflush here but it is described as a universally flattering, sheer, ultra-lightweight peach baked powder designed to give all skin tones a youthful touch of natural colour.

Apart from the fact that I adore the names – who wouldn’t want Happy and Joy in their collection?! – I actually really like this formulation. It is a very firm lipstick which makes it great for lining and defining the lips, and also building up the colour.

These new limited edition Velour Lovers Lio Colours offer up a long-wearing, intensely pigmented finish with moisturising benefits. It uses prismatic crushed pearls to create a chrome matte-metallic finish. The shades are buildable medium to high coverage and have a velvet smooth texture.
