So this is pretty exciting! Lancome did very interesting things with the mascara wand when it launched Grandiose mascara in 2014. They followed up last year with some amazing colours and now the Grandiose twist is being applied to liquid liner. And this is very clever indeed!! Here is everything you need to know about Lancome Grandiose Liner.

Right! So what you need to know first up is that you can bend the handle of this liquid liner. It is really interesting. Getting perfect liquid liner angles is one of the hardest things in makeup application and this one has been designed to create the angle for you. Apparently Lisa Eldridge worked very closely on the development of this product to mimic exactly the right slant to create the perfect line.

Lancome Grandiose Liner Features
- Hinged handle that can be bent in two directions
- 35 degree curve in the handle via pivot
- Can be used in 2 specific positions – straight and curved
- New dense, opaque & matte formula
- Longwear hold and transfer proof
- Available in 3 shades – carbon black, deep brown, sapphire blue

You can, of course, use this like a traditional liner in the straight position, but if you struggle with liner, you may find the tilted position particularly helpful. The tilted position allows the liner to reach the upper lash line more easily and precisely, from the inner corner to the outer eye.

Carbon Black, Deep Brown:

I loved using this with the angle and am absolutely obsessed with the Deep Brown shade. It makes a lovely soft contrast against black lashes.
The funny thing is that I can’t really describe how it made it easier to apply, but it definitely did. I feel like you are able to get closer into the lash line without the handle getting in the way. I really like it and brown liner is definitely for me!
Lancome Grandiose Liner is £23 and is available to order online here.

This is a really interesting design! I don’t struggle with liquid liner application but I can see how others would find this very useful.
