I bought this Kat Von D True Palette when I was in New York last month and it was just so exciting (for Ben and I) that it was actually quite an emotional experience! Say hello to the Kat Von D True Romance Saint Eyeshadow Palette!

We were in Sephora and I was looking at the new butterfly palettes and Ben started playing with the Saint palette and couldn’t get over how soft the shadows were. Before I knew it I was covered in it – Ben has a rather off the wall swatching technique – and we decided that this was the palette for us! Take a closer look!

So I never really thought of myself as a Kat Von D type of makeup person. It is all inspired by body art and tattoos and that’s not me really. The thing is though, there is absolutely no denying the beautiful quality of these eyeshadows and it is one of the most stunning edits of neutral shades I have seen. Tattoos or no tattoos, this girl knows how to put a divine neutral palette together!

The texture and pigmentation of the shadows is just to die for and they are so well put together that you can choose any shade and it just works.

Kat Von D True Romance Saint Eyeshadow Palette Swatches:

Oh my goodness these shadows are just incredible – they are so easy to apply, so easy to blend and they last for hours and hours. Dreamy. The swatches really do speak for themselves. And the eyeliner is amazing – soft, creamy, blacker than black and it lasts! Also each eye shadow formulation is infused with rose extract to hydrate and help eyelids stay soft and moisturised.
