I have never tried the Givenchy Loose Powders before but they have had a bit of an update in terms of formula and packaging. Regardless of how different they are, as I am not qualified to judge, I have to say that it a beautiful powder – super light, really sheer and it gives a lovely glowy finish. There are 3 shades: No 1 Mousseline Pastel, No 2 Taffetas Beige (this is the one I have) and No 3 Organza Caramel.

As you can see the Givenchy Prisme Libre offers 4 different shades of loose powder in nude tones. Taffetas Beige has 2 beiges, apricot and yellow which when mixed together give my skin a beautiful soft glow and very subtle warmth.

The new formula is more sheer and luminous apparently and it mattifies without looking powdery or chalky and adds a good measure of radiance and luminosity.
Here is my skin with CC Cream, foundation and concealer applied (all Bobbi Brown):

And here it is with a mix of the Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder Taffetas Beige shades mixed together.

As you can see, it takes away the shine without losing any glow. Perfect!! I had a makeup lesson with makeup artist Lina Cameron recently and she showed me how to use the shades individually when contouring. It works amazingly and I will share that with you soon.
It’s a huge thumbs up from me on the new Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder. The new collection is available from the end of May 2014 and costs £35.
