I love Elegant Touch! I think they make having gorgeous nails really easy but I have only ever tried their stick-ons, never actual polish. Elegant Touch Gel Rocks is a 2 step system that give you the results of a professional gel manicure at home without the need to cure the nails.

Elegant Touch Gel Rocks uses an innovative gel activating top and base coat system and it is really easy to do!

You just choose a colour – there’s a really nice range – and then get cracking with the super easy steps. You need to paint the colour on in 2 coats, letting each one dry before moving on. It doesn’t say to use a base coat but I did because I have only just cracked my stained nail situation and don’t want to go back there! Read about how I did that here.
I used 2 good coats of the Elegant Touch Gel Rocks pink (named Just Say Yes), let each one touch dry (I didn’t have time to hang around for ages) and then I applied the gel activating top coat. I let that dry while I typed away at my PC for a few minutes and I was good to go.
Elegant Touch Gel Rocks Swatch:

It gives a gorgeously glossy and plumped up finish, very similar to the look of a professional gel manicure. It does this with a blend acrylic materials (that act as a plumping activator on the base of the nails) and gel polish colour to deliver a finish that is lifted and super shiny.
Now I have had this colour on for 2 days and so far so good. It is showing no signs at all of chipping. It promises to last for 10 days, so I am going to do my best to leave it on and find out whether it lives up to its claims. This will be hard because I’m addicted to changing my colour but I will give it a go. I’ll pop an update in here soon!
Find Elegant Touch Gel Rocks at Superdrug for £14.99 from June 2014. It’s not showing stock right now but keep checking as I think it will appear any second. There are 8 colours the choose from.

These sound great! Even the polishes that promise to not chip I always seem to chip – will definitely be giving these a go!
I am curious to know how well this really lasts and how easy it is to remove.
My gel manicure gives me three weeks chip free but takes an hour to remove, although only an hour to replace.
