Most of you will know that I have been sorting myself out recently!! After months of really over eating and feeling generally miserable about not fitting into my clothes I decided a couple of months ago to draw a line under it and launch ReeFit! Here is where it started.
I have changed quite a few things. I did a detox, I started exercising again and have continued to eat healthily post detox.
The thing is, I have never wanted to, and never intend to give up alcohol. I mean I want to be fit and healthy but I don’t want to become unrecognisable! I enjoy a drink and I’m not ashamed to admit it! It’s social, fun and I do love a glass of wine!!
However, I was recently made aware of a bit of a compromise on the wine front. Cue Stowell’s Light wine! I tried it out for the first time last night when my boyfriend and I had a lovely healthy meal together.
Most importantly I can tell you that this wine tastes really nice. It’s super fruity and refreshing and tastes really light. In fact, my boyf isn’t a huge fan of white wine because it finds it quite bitter but he really like this one.
The other things you need to know is that it’s only 60 calories for125ml glass, that’s 30% less than a typical glass of wine. It is also lower in alcohol so perfect for the festive season where we all tend to drink a lot more than usual. If my mum has this there’s much more chance of Christmas dinner being on time!!
Stowells Light comes in White (made from a blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc with melon, pear and apricot fruit flavours) and Rose (a vibrant youthful pink, full of juicy strawberry, raspberry and cherry fruit).
It’s £5.49 and is available from all ASDA stores nationwide.
