Ciate have got some amazing new lip launches. There’s a whole range of new nourishing lip colours, called Pretty Stix, but before we get there, I wanted to show you this lip scrub to get lips ready for all that new colour. Here’s a look at the brand new Ciate Scrub Stix Exfoliating Lip Balm.

So the truth is, it doesn’t matter what gorgeous colour you apply to your lips, if they are in a terrible state the colour will look bad. Lips are pretty high maintenance. They actually need quite a lot of love to keep them looking smooth and plump and the Ciate Scrub Stix is here to do just that.

Ciate Scrub Stix Features

  • Wax-free formula
  • Uses eco-friendly micro-exfoliating particles
  • Gently buffs away flakes
  • Seaweed extracts encourage cell renewal
  • Balm deeply hydrates
  • Can be used daily to prep and prime for colour

It is really easy to use. You simply apply it like a lipstick but more firmly and for longer, then rub lips together for a minute, then wipe it away. Done! It is really gentle and leaves my lips feeling smooth, calm and hydrated. If you want something very scrubby, this isn’t it. It is very gentle – I think it could be a bit scrubbier, but I find it’s fine for the delicate skin on my lips.

The first time you use it, it takes some getting going to get to the exfoliator, but after that, you’re good. Because it’s so gentle, you can use it as a balm when you’re on the go to keep lips smooth and hydrated. The balm isn’t overly slippy or shiny, which means it makes a great base for colour.

Ciate Scrub Stix Exfoliating Lip Balm is £15 and available to order online HERE in the UK and HERE in the US.
