There are so many new launches from Barry M that I really didn’t know where to start. So as a concealer addict and also a flawless skin obsessive, this one seemed like the obvious choice. I am always on the hunt for a good high street concealer to recommend, so I decided to find out straight away if the new Barry M Flawless Light Reflecting Concealer was it!

So! Let’s get on with it! There are 3 shades of the Barry M Flawless Light Reflecting Concealer that all look pretty similar in the tube. Definitely nothing for darker skin tones here.

Barry M Flawless Light Reflecting Concealer Features
- Lightweight fluid concealer
- Covers imperfections, blemishes and the look of under eye circles
- Non cakey formula
- Infused with cucumber and aloe extracts to sooth and revitalise
- Perfect on-the-spot treatment for tired eyes
It promises to have all the things that I look for in a concealer. I feel completely under made-up without something brightening around the eyes, so if this works out, I could be really happy! Keep reading to see!

I was slightly put off by the brush applicator as I am a big fan of doe foot wands. I generally don’t enjoy a brush, particularly for lip gloss. But this isn’t lip gloss, and I tried not to judge it!

I used shade 1 to brighten up the whole area and then shade 3 – which is quite pinky – right in the inner corners where it is darker/more blue-toned. Trevor from Laura Mercier told me that pink tones are good for blueness around the eye area. The combination worked really well.
It has a nice creamy, yet light texture, and feels and looks pretty hydrating on the skin after initial application. Half an hour later, the area still looks nice and hydrated which is good. I am really pleased with it. I am still not a fan of the brush, but I can cope and this will be a great little handbag concealer for touch ups on the go.
Barry M Flawless Light Reflecting Concealer is £4.49 and available from 6th May 2015 in Superdrug and 13th May 2015 in Boots.

I’m currently trying to find the perfect concealer, so I definitely think I’ll have to pick this one up soon. It sounds so lovely & ivory seems pale enough for my skin (: xx
