Oooh! A shadow and glaze palette sounds interesting doesn’t it?! And I tell you, this is very interesting indeed. It’s a eyeshadow palette with 6 powder eyeshadows and a glaze that you layer over the colours for glossy eyes. Here’s a look at the limited edition Barry M Eye Shine Shadow & Glaze Palette.

With Glaze Top Coat:
Now, glaze or nor glaze, I think this is a real little stunner of a palette. The shades are really densely pigmented and super fine and the colours are just beautiful. It is worth having this palette for the shades alone – I like them all, apart from the silver, because silver looks dreadful on me and it is a little on the chunky side before the glaze is applied.
I love the idea of getting a really high gloss finish by adding the glaze. It really does make those already rather ‘poppy’ shades pop. It won’t be for everyone – but as I said, you can take or leave the glaze. Buy it for the colours!
Here’s that gorgeous coppery shades quickly pressed on to the lids (sorry – bit slap-dash):
And here it is with the glaze dabbed on top – I am not sure what the best technique it?!
It most definitely will crease. I have never ever come across a glossy eye product that hasn’t, even from high end brands. But it is easily fixed, and if you want to experiment with a high fashion look, this is the perfect way to do it! Personally, I prefer it without the glaze.
